Shan Foods came to Lahore School of Economics and conducted Career Counseling session on the 3rd of February 2020 in TRC 3, TRC 4 and Placements Office.

The main aim of this session was to help students choose a field that is in tune with their skills and their job expectations. Thus, with the help of career counselling, most candidates end up choosing the right career, and perform their level best, which ultimately helps them succeed.

Mock Interviews with Waleed Akbar- 4th Feb 2020.

The aim of the session was to help student learn how to answer difficult questions, develop interview strategies, improve their communication skills, and reduce stress before an actual job interview. During the mock interview, the interviewer used a semi-structured interview format rather than asking a formal list of questions.

The session was specially conducted for Bachelor 4th year and MBA students.

National Foods Mock Interviews-17th Feb 2020

National Foods came to Lahore School of Economics on the 17th of February to conduct Mock Interviews and Career Counseling Session.

Umair Akram, Saad Omar and Ahmad Ismail came from the National Foods team to give a brief introduction about their company and regarding their Trailblazer Program as well as Summer Internship Program. They also explained their career progression in National Foods.

Its a 5 step recruitment process that includes
1) Registration
2)Gamified Test
3)Shortlisting
4)Interviews
5)Final Selection

The session was highly interactive as the team carried out a Quiz session where students were given prizes as well.

HBL Recruitment Drive 2020
Wednesday 12 February 2020

Habib Bank Limited conducted a recruitment drive session for the students of Lahore School of Economics in collaboration with the Placements Office. The session took place on the 7th of February, 2020.

The intent of this drive was to provide brief introduction of HBL to the newly graduating students of Lahore School of Economics and to those who are about to graduate.

The team gave details about their HBL League program and explained the process how the students can apply for internships and their Management Trainee Program

The League Internship Program is designed to help students explore the organization and gain hands-on-experience to evaluate future career possibilities with Pakistan’s largest financial service organization.

An alumni of Lahore School of Economics also shared her journey and how she found the environment of the bank.

Future prospects and growth opportunities in the organisation were also discussed.

Nailing your interview technique before walking into the first meeting with your potential employers can really boost your chances of success.

Mr. Faraz Atif, working as Assistant Manager Recruitment & Trainings in Total Parco took the mock interviews of the students and evaluated them based on their Presentation Skills, Interpersonal Skills, Effective Communication,Exposure,Confidence and Assertiveness.
