Information Session by Principal Consultant Kinetic



Omayer Arshad, Principal Consultant for Kinetic visited the Lahore School of Economics on July 20th, 2017 to deliver an information session regarding their upcoming venture. He told the students about their Graduate Trainee Program and the hiring process for it. They aim to invent and execute unique out of home experiences for consumers to interact with brands and to influence consumer behavior. The assessment centre will be online and incorporate lego and business game exercises and online tests. The students will be evaluated on 25 behaviors and will go through two rounds of interviews before the final selection.

Session on Professional Training


The Lahore School of Economics Placement Office invited Omer Khalid from Global Management Consultants, MBA Lahore School of Economics. He along with his team members visited the campus on June 15th, 2017; and conducted an interactive session with group and individual activities designed to determine personality types. He briefed the students about different personality types and how this knowledge can be utilized in making effective teams. This concept is gradually becoming popular in the corporate world as increasing number of companies are contacting such consultancies to do a detailed analysis of their workforce and construct balanced and productive teams. He explained the students how the knowledge of your personality and personality in general can be helpful while going for job interviews and dealing with coworkers and managers.

Advanced Excel Session


The Lahore School of Economics Placement Office Summer Training Program entailed two advanced excel sessions, which were held on 13th and 14th June, 2017. The Placement Office invited Mr Mohammad Hassan Raza, MBA Lahore School of Economics. He holds a diploma in Office Management (Microsoft Office). It was a class room training session where the students were taught advanced excel functions that are required on the job. The session was followed by an assignment in which the students practiced those functions on real time data. It is absolutely crucial for every student to have a strong grip on excel before they enter the job market.
